Matthew A. Laffer
Vice President of Sales
Matthew Laffer manages and directs GlobalFit’s sales departments, including Business Development, Health Club Development, Customer Call Center and Member Services. In addition, he created GlobalFit’s Outside Sales Division and oversees its agents.
At age 23, Matthew founded Fitness Group, Inc., developing it into New York State’s largest, fastest-growing fitness club network. As CEO, he achieved his preferred exit strategy when GlobalFit acquired Fitness Group, Inc. in 1999.
Matthew played a critical role in orchestrating and implementing GlobalFit’s expansion from a Philadelphia-area company to a national corporation. He also works with the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) to advocate for health promotion legislation.
