2007 GlobalFit Employee of the Year
Daniel Conroy
Developer, Technology Division
Daniel Conroy joined the GlobalFit team in July 2006 after a spending six years as a Programmer/Systems Analyst with Global Link. With a Computer Science degree from Pennco Tech and a driving edge to learn more, he has become an impact player on GlobalFit’s Technology team, enabling the company to adopt newer, more efficient technologies.
After his first year and a half, Danny has already made enduring and invaluable contributions. He built the Virtual Account Manager, an interface for GlobalFit’s corporate and group Sponsors to order communication tools and manage their account data. He created measurable improvements on the company’s billing structure, giving members a higher level of confidence with their electronic transactions. His new Web Service system permits real-time reporting, an innovation that technologically enables the continued growth of GlobalFit’s provider network. Daniel also advanced the Campaigning System, greatly simplifying the e-communication process to GlobalFit’s diverse audiences.
He has continually taken on bigger projects and more responsibilities. When needed, Daniel took it upon himself to come in early and stay late, always completing what was required for the company’s growth and continued success.
Outgoing and personable, Daniel goes out of his way to make friends and build community. He has continually earned high praise from his co-workers for being an easy collaborator, seemingly making light work out of the most demanding tasks. His ‘can do’ attitude sets the standard among his peers.
With this combination of skill and affability, hard work and team spirit, he makes GlobalFit not only a better corporation but a better place to work. GlobalFit is proud to name Daniel Conroy the Employee of the Year for 2007.
