Jobs @ GlobalFit ASP / SQL / PHP Web Developer ABOUT THE POSITION: We are seeking a talented ASP/SQL/PHP Web Developer to join our technology team! Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this position is for an ASP / SQL Web Developer with a MINIMUM of 3 years experience on a high transaction website. You must have in-depth knowledge of industry standards such as JavaScript, ASP, SQL Server 2005 (including serious T-SQL skills). Job Responsibilities: • Architect, design, code, test, and implement scalable and reliable web applications (Internet and Intranet) using Microsoft technologies, specifically ASP and Transact SQL • Translate business requirements into specifications and design. • Provide development estimates outlining business and technical risks. • Ensure the application of information assurance policies, principles, and practices. • Work closely within a small development team to troubleshoot development & production environments, performance tune, and optimize code. • Performs all other duties as assigned Qualified candidates must possess the following: • A minimum of 3-5+ years proven experience designing and developing enterprise-class, database-driven, interactive web sites (front-end and back-end) • 3-5+ years providing architecture solutions for distributed systems using Windows based technologies. • 3-5+ years of full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment. • 3-5+ years of development experience on SQL databases, including expert-level Transact-SQL programming. • 3-5+ years of web development experience including HTML, scripting languages, and web servers (IIS). • Ability to work under tight time constraints with verbal & written instructions of varying levels of detail and changing requirements. • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives. • Minimum BSCS or equivalent experience.
