| David Giampaolo Named Chairman of the Board for GlobalFit PHILADELPHIA, PA, December 6, 2006 — GlobalFit, the nation’s leading provider of healthy living benefits, is pleased to announce that it has named David Giampaolo as Chairman of the Board. A savvy investor and fitness industry veteran, Giampaolo brings a wealth of experience to the board room. He succeeds GlobalFit Founder John Cassady as Chairman, though Cassady remains a member of the Board. “David’s expertise in the fitness industry is unmatched,” said Frank Napolitano, President and CEO. “We couldn’t ask for a stronger Chairman as GlobalFit enters its next stage of development and product expansion. With Giampaolo and new board member John Fries (Health Resources International) at the table, GlobalFit’s Board is stronger than ever.” Giampaolo, Chief Executive at the UK’s Pi Capital, brings with him 30 years of fitness industry experience. He previously founded, built and sold several businesses and health club chains in the US and UK. He co-founded Fitness Holdings Europe, which was subsequently acquired by 24 Hour Fitness Worldwide in 1999. In 2005, David advised BC Partners, who acquired Fitness First for $1.55 billion (£840 million) and joined its board as a non-executive director. He is also an active private investor, and serves on the boards of several unquoted companies in the US and UK.
