Is the tracker a pedometer?
No, the tracker has a pedometer function, but it also uses an accelerometer. This enables the device to track movement and distinguish walking from running and other movement. It also tracks the time of day in which you performed each activity so that you can learn more about your own activity and how to increase your steps.
Who will be able to see my activity data?
Only you have access to your account. The GlobalFit Destination: You servers are secure, and only our administrators have access to the server for maintenance. GlobalFit will not release your information to anyone without your written permission.
How does my data get from the tracker to my account?
Our upload devices work just like your car’s E-ZPasssm transponder and sends data about your steps to the GlobalFit server. Globalfit then uploads the information to your Destination: You account.
