Training Tip:
Feet take a lot of abuse during runs and even during walks. Investing in good running shoes will go a long way toward protecting your feet from pounding the pavement. The right shoe will fit comfortably but securely, leaving you room to wiggle your toes, and will not need a break-in period; if theyre not comfortable from day one, they dont fit. Expect a quality running shoe to last anywhere from 350 to 500 miles; after that, much of their power to absorb shocks will be gone, leaving your feet vulnerable. |
