About the Position:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for assisting in the creation of compelling email advertisements, the design and implementation of custom Web pages, mock-ups and sketches, and the production of sales collateral including brochures, newsletters, presentations and templates. The Graphic Designer will maintain responsibility for the ongoing management of programs developed, and working with all of the Sales & Marketing staff, as well as the IT staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for assistance in design and development of marketing collateral.

Assist in design and production of variety of four-color print projects (ads, brochures, annual reports, newsletters, tradeshow materials, etc).

Build electronic files to meet vendor specifications and function as a prepress/production artist.

Develop HTML emails – conduct image search, follow pre-approved templates.

Prepare final layouts of materials for printers.

Check proofs.

Plan, schedule and prepare for production of original artwork on small to medium-sized projects.

Prepare project print specification documentation.

Adhere to Corporate and Marketing processes, procedures and brand guidelines.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 3 years of corporate style graphic design experience.

A minimum of 3 years of first-hand experience and strong technical proficiencies using pc-based design programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver.

Experience in design for print and web.

Practicing knowledge of principles of graphic design, graphic layout, photographic requirements and procedures.

Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.

Hands-on experience in cutting up documents for print, printing procedures and requirements.

Must be detail oriented and able to function with minimum supervision in a fast paced, multiple project environment.
