What is GlobalFit?
GlobalFit is an employee and group benefit that provides a range of healthy living programs to more than 1,400 employers and organizations, including many Fortune 500 companies.

GlobalFit’s signature offering is its nationwide fitness center network, which eligible employees and group members can access as a value-added part of their company-sponsored benefit package. The network includes thousands of qualified fitness centers, from esteemed national chains to independent local and regional facilities.

GlobalFit also offers special low pricing on the NutriSystem® weight-loss program, at-home fitness programs and other healthy living benefits. Plus, GlobalFit’s Healthy Changes programs provide an affordable way to get professional, one-on-one guidance to quit smoking, reduce stress, lose weight or meet other healthy living goals. Through applicable corporate subsidies and reimbursements, GlobalFit makes it convenient and affordable for eligible employees and group members to adopt healthier lifestyles.



What does GlobalFit do for its providers?
GlobalFit complements its providers’ corporate marketing efforts with approved, sponsored communications targeting the corporate and group marketplace.

Our dedicated Sponsor Relationship Managers work directly with corporate Human Resources Professionals and Benefit Administrators to distribute marketing materials, which GlobalFit provides to sponsors. GlobalFit requires sponsors to distribute these materials at least quarterly, and many sponsors prefer to promote healthy living on a monthly basis.

GlobalFit promotes fitness and healthy living with marketing tools that include:
  • Open Enrollment Communications – Promotional flyers position GlobalFit’s fitness center network as part of the sponsor’s overall benefit package.
  • Health Fair Kits – With professional signage, educational flyers and raffles, our Relationship Managers personally tell eligible employees about fitness clubs in their area.
  • GO – GlobalFit’s exclusive online monthly newsletter features articles on exercise, nutrition and health trends, with links to GlobalFit’s fitness center search engine.
  • Brochures – Sized as payroll stuffers, our gate-folds promote the benefits of healthy living in general and GlobalFit’s fitness center network in particular.
  • Educational Articles – Published in sponsors’ internal newsletters and wellness communications, our exclusive content relates GlobalFit’s fitness center network to seasonal topics (New Year’s, Women’s Health Month, etc.).
  • Posters – For break rooms and other common areas, our full-color notices remind employees of their GlobalFit benefits.
  • Email Communications – Our monthly incentive emails capture attention with helpful lifestyle tips and money-saving offers.



    How do providers benefit from GlobalFit’s marketing efforts?
    GlobalFit brings new members from the hard-to-reach corporate and group population. Essentially, these members would constitute found business for your club. GlobalFit will never convert your club’s current or recent members.

    Better still, new members from GlobalFit arrive with minimal acquisition costs. You’ll only incur core administrative expenses, while GlobalFit handles all marketing and advertising costs, as well as any collection costs.

    Regular dues arrive in one convenient payment from GlobalFit. Plus, your new GlobalFit members pay you directly for any ancillary services, such as personal training or juice bars.



    How does GlobalFit work?
    We purchase tens of thousands of corporate fitness club memberships from a select group of providers operating in major US markets (plus select remote locales as determined by our customer population density). GlobalFit then offers these memberships as an officially endorsed benefit to eligible employees and group members.

    The GlobalFit benefit is sponsored by more than 1,400 employers, unions and organizations, including American Airlines, BellSouth, Boeing, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ernst & Young, GE, Home Depot, JPMorgan Chase & Company, Lockheed Martin, Macy’s, MetLife, PricewaterhouseCoopers, United Auto Workers, UPS, USAirways and Wyeth.

    GlobalFit collects fitness club dues directly from our sponsors’ employees and members (and in the case of select subsidy programs, from the sponsors themselves). GlobalFit passes the majority of these dues back to the respective fitness clubs, keeping only a small processing fee.

    GlobalFit is not offered to the general public. GlobalFit’s healthy living programs are available as a group benefit only, with access given exclusively to our sponsors’ employees or members and their immediate families.



    Is there a fee to be a GlobalFit provider?
    No. Participation as a GlobalFit provider is free for qualified fitness clubs. All of our fees are paid by eligible employees and members and their sponsor organizations.
