What is GlobalFit?
GlobalFit is a voluntary benefit provider offering a comprehensive selection of healthy living programs to the corporate, insurance and group marketplace since 1992. GlobalFit currently serves more than 1,400 organizations, including many Fortune 500 companies.
To its sponsors’ employees and members, GlobalFit offers convenient, affordable full-access memberships to its nationwide fitness club network, featuring thousands of fitness centers, from brand-name chains to independent regional facilities.
GlobalFit’s other healthy living options include NutriSystem®’s proven-effective weight-loss program, at-home fitness programs, and Healthy Changes, one-on-one access to an experienced professional to help set and meet health and fitness goals.
What are the sponsor's obligations?
Sponsors commit to a regular schedule of communication with their employees and members. Your dedicated GlobalFit Relationship Manager will help you to customize a communication program to best suit your schedule and culture. GlobalFit provides all communication materials.
Who is eligible to use GlobalFit?
When your company sponsors the GlobalFit Benefit, all employees and members, their spouses or domestic partners, and any dependent children under age 23 will be eligible to access GlobalFit’s healthy living benefits.
How do eligible individuals enroll for GlobalFit’s healthy living benefits?
Employees and members can inquire and enroll by visiting this website or by calling 800-294-1500 toll-free to reach GlobalFit’s full-service call center.
What is the cost to eligible individuals?
GlobalFit’s customers enjoy the lowest available rates on fitness club memberships and other healthy living programs. A one-time activation fee may apply to certain programs.
Can the sponsor subsidize memberships?
Organizations may elect to encourage participation by subsidizing memberships for employees and members; however, there is no obligation to do so.
Does GlobalFit have minimum participation requirements?
GlobalFit has no minimum participation requirements. However, your program communications must reach all eligible employees and members.
What if we have an on-site fitness center?
GlobalFit is the perfect complementary program, helping your employees complete their healthy lifestyles with weight loss through NutriSystem, smoking cessation or stress reduction. They may also opt to join a fitness club near their home.
